Before I get into the wedding itself, I want to thank Heather (one of my January brides) for recommending me to Kaili (this bride). They both work at Toni & Guy in the Park Meadows Mall. I’ve had them both cut my hair, and they are amazing. If you are looking for a hair dresser or someone to make you look incredible on your wedding day, be sure to check them out. Yes, they do travel for weddings.
Now, onto the task at hand…
On Monday I had the privilege of photographing one of the most unique weddings I’ve done to date. Kaili and Daniel are an incredible couple that really made their wedding personal. This was not a traditional day, and I am so grateful I got to be a part of it.
The wedding consisted of 8 people. The Bride & Groom, the Parents and 2 incredible Sisters. The wedding was intimate. I was really impressed with the love the family members all had for each other. They introduced me into their group with open arms, and I really feel like I became one of them through the day.
The size of the wedding was just one aspect of the uniqueness of the wedding. Kaili’s dress was blue, her ring was green, the ceremony was by candlelight in their town-home, the reception was in a wine cellar, her sister did all the flowers (which were amazing btw), and rain was smiled upon rather than turning into a concern.
I am so pleased with the images I was able to get from this wedding. I’ve included a lot more “formals” than normal, because I just couldn’t decide!

This next shot is my favorite of the day!
